What you will do in this role:
Work as part of a great Perl development team on maintaining and enhancing a versatile, in-house management application. The application integrates inventory and customer management, content delivery network, cloud, managed hosting and colocation services into a unified infrastructure and interface. It also contains support for numerous leading API services and provides a robust platform for continuous expansion.
- General maintenance of the company’s services implemented in Perl
- Implementation of small enhancements, corrections and bug fixes
- Implementation of new software subsystems that integrate into the existing infrastructure
- Implementation of new API interfaces
What you will bring to this role:
- Bachelor degree in IT, Engineering and/or a related field
- 3-5+ years experience in Perl (varying experience levels)
- Written and verbal fluency in English
- SQL experience
- Unix and GNU/Linux experience
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Attention to detail and a clear vision of personal responsibility
- Experience developing and deploying in Linux/Unix-based environments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and attention to details & deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and to easily flow with changes to priorities and projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-performance organization
Bonus:
- Experience with other programming languages (Ruby, Python, C)
The Position:
This is a full-time position, for candidates located in Croatia and Bosnia.
